OUR STORY
Witklip has been a part of our lives for quite a number of years, an escape from the hustle and bustle of every day life, a place to be alone with your thoughts, to reflect and to re-discover yourself. It has meant so much to us and it made us think - What if we can provide people with the opportunity to escape their everyday lives and technology, the rush and the pressure to just come and relax, to experience nature at its best and to find themselves in the process.
We decided that the chance to help one person re-connect with nature is something that we can not ignore and as of 2016 we are inviting you and your families to come and experience Witklip Hideaway. It is our wish to see children here for summer camps as well, under the watchful eye of their teachers. We also run camps with the assistance of the SA Hunting and Conservation Club, and bring in experts to teach children (or adults) about nature, fauna and flora, and survival of both man and nature, for without one we cannot have the other – and vice versa.

The children love visiting Witklip, they are able to roam free and we don't have to watch them 24/7 like in the city.
